Dawn Johnson

President

Dawn is a1987 graduate of Orangeburg Wilkinson High School.  She earned her B.S. in Economics from Florida State University in 1991.  Upon graduation, Dawn started her career with State Farm Insurance Company in Jacksonville, FL.​  In 2000, she transferred to State Farm Corporate Headquarters in Bloomington, IL.  After six years there, she opened her own individually owned and operated State Farm Insurance Agency in Rock Hill, SC on December 1, 2006.

Dawn has been involved with a number or organizations and has served on several Boards in the Rock Hill area.  Community service has fed her soul her entire life, and it started with the generosity of time, talent and resources, which her parents, Crawford and Thelma Cullars, patterned for her in their living, and instilled in her with their loving guidance. So, this Foundation is a partnership with them and a tribute to them.

Dawn has been married to Lyman T. Johnson since May 1995, who is also employed by State Farm Insurance Company.  Together, they have an 16 year old daughter, Teryn Louise Johnson.

Terrence Nealy

Terrence “TJ” Nealy is a graduate of Bethune-Cookman University where he acquired a degree in Mass Communication. He is a creative content specialist with a passion for branding, design, and user experience and strive to combine all of these passions into one by offering creative advertising and marketing strategies for clients both big and small. Additionally, TJ is a professor and program lead of a new digital media program at a community college in North Carolina. He enjoys working with people to explore the beauty they have within, and hope to bring a new vision into the Rock Hill area. 

Serena Williams is a native of Columbia, South Carolina. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from South Carolina State University, a Master of Social Work degree and certificate in Grant Writing from the University of South Carolina. She serves as Coordinator of Community Services for Rock Hill Schools where she establishes relationships with local providers that provide support for students, garners resources, and develops programs that strengthen and expand educational opportunities.   She coordinates support services for students placed in foster care and those experiencing homelessness.  Serena is married to Dr. Norris Williams and they have two sons Norris and Noble.

Latoya McDonald

Latoya McDonald is an author, speaker, missionary and leadership consultant. Her books, "Out Loud: My Story of Abandonment, Hope and Faith" and "Crave to be Bold: A Guide to Teach you How to Live for God", communicate profound truths simple enough to understand and apply to daily living. She's traveled to Jamaica, Haiti and Africa to assist in facilitating Life Coaching and Small Group and Development Leadership trainings; and Restoring Your Heart Seminars. As a certified Restoring Your Heart Group Leader, she helps individuals work through emotional hurt and unprocessed pain. She's partnered with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and Weed and Seed Urban Development to facilitate leadership programs that build new leaders and establish healthy communities. She's provided services to the Department of Juvenile Justice that focus on conflict resolution, gang prevention and intervention and family reunification. She founded C.R.A.V.E. Inc. to teach youth the importance of character, respect, attitude. value and education. She established My Out Loud, LLC to provide conferences, concerts and workshops that encourage, uplift, and inspire individuals in their personal growth. She currently serves as the Family Services Specialist for United Methodist Home for Children. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication from Winthrop University.

Vaquacious “Queen” Lundy, M.S. is a native of Orangeburg, South Carolina, who migrated to the beautiful city of Rock Hill in 2012 to obtain her Bachelor of Science degree in Integrated Marketing Communication from Winthrop University. She later obtained her Master of Science degree in Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University.

  

Vaquacious, affectionately known as Queen, is prominently known within the community for her passion in event planning, service to others, and passion for creating positive change. In her service to others and the community, she discovered her true passion and calling. Dedicated to empowering young people, Queen uses her gift in efforts of uplifting people beyond their circumstances, inspiring resilience, and uncovering the individual purpose. By trade, she is also the Social Media Director for Hardy Harris Marketing + Media. By purpose, she is the owner and operator of Starting Root, LLC which is the cultivating and creative hub to the many gifts and services that she provides to the world as a certified transition life coach, personal chef and event coordinator (The Side Table). Queen considerers herself to be a true renaissance woman, an efficient do-er of anything she puts her heart and mind to.

 

Queen’s hobbies and enjoyment includes cooking, networking with others, and making people smile. Her motto is “when passion meets opportunity, purpose is fulfilled” and her scripture to live by is Lamentations 3:21 “This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope”. She believes that while she is here on earth, her job is to create a space for that inspires and sows seeds of hope that nurtures people to grow on purpose.
